Được trang bị bộ vi xử lý thế hệ mới nhất Intel® Celeron® processor J1900 (tên mã trước đây là "Bay Trail"), Seri NISE 505 có vai trò như IoT Gateway thông minh cho nhà máy tự động hóa và các ứng dụng thành phố thông minh. Bộ nhớ DDR3L lên tới 4G, seri NISE 505 hỗ trợ dải nhiệt độ hoạt động từ -5 – 55 độ C với điện áp đầu vào 12V DC (+/-20%). Seri NISE 505 có kết nối mạnh mẽ - Ethernet LAN-based và tín hiệu RS232 truyền thống, chủ yếu cho truyền thông Modbus TCP hoặc Modbus RTU Đối với kết nối không dây, có 1 khe cắm mini-PCIe có thể hỗ trợ các mô-đun không dây tùy chọn cho các ứng dụng IoT, ví dụ: Wi-Fi, mô-đun Bluetooth.
