Được trang bị bộ xử lý Intel® Celeron® thế hệ mới nhất N3350 (trước đây có tên mã là "Apollo Lake").Thiết kế của NISE 51 với vai trò là gateway IoT thông minh tương thích với các ứng dụng trong tự động hóa nhà máy và thành phố thông minh. NISE 51 có khe cắm DDR3L SODIMM; Hỗ trợ nhiệt độ hoạt động từ -5 đến 55 độ C. Đầu vào DC 12V/24V với phạm vi +/- 10%.

Sê-ri NISE 51 có khả năng kết nối mạnh mẽ, cổng LAN Ethernet-based và RS485 truyền thống, chủ yếu dành cho giao tiếp Modbus TCP hoặc Modbus RTU. Đối với kết nối không dây, NISE 51 có 1 khe cắm mini-PCIe và 2 x M.2 có thể hỗ trợ các mô-đun không dây tùy chọn cho các ứng dụng IoT, ví dụ như mô-đun Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5G và 4G LTE cũng như mô-đun lưu trữ.
